How to Become a Member

At PARC, membership isn’t something you have to earn — it’s something you already have the moment you walk through our doors. We call the people who participate in our programs and services PARC members, and everyone is welcome to be part of this community.

Whether you’re looking for support, connection, or a way to have your voice heard in how PARC is run — there’s a place for you here.

Two Ways to Be a Member:

Community Member (Informal)

Anyone who visits PARC, uses our programs, or participates in our Drop-In is considered a community member. There is no registration required, no fees, and no conditions.

As a community member you can:

  • Access all open-door programs and services
  • Participate in Drop-In activities and events
  • Connect with staff, peer workers, and other members
  • Contribute to the PARC community in any way you choose

Public Member (Formal)

If you want to play an active role in how PARC is governed and directed, you can register as a formal Public Member. This is a voluntary step for those who want deeper involvement in the organization.

As a Public Member you can:

  • Vote at PARC’s Annual General Meeting (AGM)
  • Serve on board committees
  • Help shape the policies and direction of PARC
  • Represent the community voice at the governance level
