Executive Director Transition 2025

We are excited to share an update on PARC’s Executive Director transition. After a thorough search process, the Board and Executive Director Selection Committee has selected a candidate to lead PARC into our next chapter.
We are pleased to welcome Barbara Domenech as PARC’s next Executive Director. Barbara brings extensive experience in housing, mental health, and community services in both Ireland and Canada. She has held leadership roles at Dublin Simon Community and Cota, where she successfully expanded supportive housing services, implemented Toronto’s first Modular Housing project, and developed innovative housing-first programs for justice-involved individuals. She is a firm believer that everyone deserves access to safe and affordable housing, and supportive services to thrive in their communities. We are confident that Barbara will bring strong leadership and a deep commitment to our mission, our members and our staff.
We are pleased to share that Barbara will be starting as Executive Director on August 5th. We also acknowledge and thank Victor for his continued leadership and commitment during this transition period. While we had originally anticipated his departure at the end of March, to accommodate Barbara’s needs and ensure a smooth transition, Victor will continue in his role as Executive Director until September 25th, 2025, following PARC’s AGM.
Barbara looks forward to building on PARC’s legacy and is eager to work alongside the teams, partners and the community to ensure that the diverse voices of those we serve are heard and represented. This transition is an opportunity to strengthen what we do best while we grow to meet the needs of our members and community.
Invitation for reflections and feedback
Hannah Atkinson Renglich is part of the team supporting PARC through this transition. Hannah will receive any reflections and feedback you may want to share, through an online form. Your reflections will be collected and shared with Victor, and the Board of Directors to help inform a thoughtful, integrated, and collaborative transition.

Annual General Meetings (AGM)
We hold our annual general meeting in September, hosted by our Board of Directors for registered PARC Members. The meeting is open to the public although only registered PARC members can vote.
