Join the PARC Board Directors
We are seeking members for Board Director positions! There are community and PARC member positions open.
If you are interested in a community member position, learn more about our mission, vision, values and governance >
If you have any questions or need more information, please email board@parc.on.ca.
PARC members can pick up a nomination form at 2nd floor reception.
Join a Board Committee!
PARC Board Committees cover five areas; Advocacy, Finance, Governance, Human Resources, and Fundraising/Development. These are working committees that typically meet monthly to support and advance our work.
Volunteering as a committee member is a great way to become familiar with the culture, priorities, ways of working and people at PARC. It is also a requirement prior to joining the PARC Board of Directors, should that be of interest.
Each committee has a workplan and seek specific skills for their area of focus. A short description of each follows, and we encourage anyone with relevant experience, knowledge and interest to apply.
Finance Committee
Oversees organizational budgeting, financial planning and policy-making, and financial reporting, including working with the Finance Director to create the annual Audited Financial Statements.
Governance Committee
Leads Board and Committee recruitment and nominations, including candidate education and orientation; Board evaluation; reviews, updates and proposes new organizational policies; “good governance” oversight.
If you have any questions or need more information, please email board@parc.on.ca.
