Drop-In Access and Hours

Overview

Everyone is welcome. No exceptions.

PARC’s Drop-In Centre has been a constant, welcoming presence in Parkdale for over 45 years. It is one of the few community spaces in Toronto that is open 365 days a year — including weekends and holidays — because we know that need doesn’t take a day off.

Anyone is welcome to walk in. You don’t need a referral, an appointment, or a reason. Just come through the door.

What's Available at the Drop-In:

Meals:: Two nutritious meals are served daily, free of charge. No registration or proof of need required.

A Safe Space: A warm, welcoming environment where you can rest, socialize, and connect with others in the community.

Activities & Programs: Daily social, recreational, and creative activities are available for members. Check our Activities & Calendar page for the current schedule.

Peer Support: Trained peer workers with lived experience are available in the drop-in to listen, offer guidance, and connect you to services.

Staff Support: Staff members are on-site daily and available to answer questions, provide information, or connect you to case management, housing support, and other programs.

Essential Items: Hygiene supplies, clothing, and other essential items are available periodically, subject to donations and availability.

How to Access the Drop-In:

Getting support at PARC is simple:

  1. Walk in at 1499 Queen Street West during Drop-In hours
  2. You’ll be welcomed by a staff member or peer worker
  3. Help yourself to a meal, take a seat, and explore what’s available
  4. If you’d like to connect with a specific program or staff member, just ask

There is no intake process at the door. No ID required. No questions asked.
