Programs & Services That Make a Difference

About Programs & Services

A Home. A Job. A Friend. A Neighbourhood.

Our work is grounded in lived experience and community connection with programs that address the key social determinants of health, including housing, primary care access, food security, income stability, and social inclusion. The Drop-In is often the first point of contact with PARC, a welcoming space for a warm meal, connection, and a range of social and recreational activities. Often called “Parkdale’s Living Room,” it is an open, low-barrier space where people can come and go freely, connect with others, and access supports as needed.

What We Offer

We offer a comprehensive range of services including housing assistance, financial support, employment resources, and outreach programs, which you can learn more about below:

Drop-in Centre

Open seven days a week, PARC’s Drop-In offers a welcoming space for people facing homelessness, mental health or substance use challenges, and food insecurity. Members can access meals, essential services, and social activities in a community-driven environment.

Case Management

Case Managers support people experiencing homelessness, mental health, and substance use
challenges with personalized care planning, connections to services to help stabilize housing,
access benefits, and improve overall wellbeing.

Housing

PARC supports people experiencing homelessness or housing instability to find and maintain safe, affordable housing. We provide housing search and application support, eviction prevention, and tenancy support through our Housing Access program, and permanent supportive housing with on-site supports to help tenants stay housed and connected to care.

Money Matters - Financial Trusteeship

Supports people in managing finances, maintaining housing stability, and preventing
homelessness through voluntary trustee banking, financial literacy training, and harm reduction-based supports. Participants build skills for independent banking, reduce rent arrears,
and work toward long-term financial security.

Peer Support Program

Shelter-based peer workers and the Community Access Program connect with people experiencing homelessness with trained peer workers to help navigate services, access healthcare, and work toward stable housing, while peers gain meaningful employment.

Employment Program

Provides people with lived experience of homelessness, mental health, or substance use
challenges with training, mentorship, and hands-on work opportunities. Participants gain skills,
build confidence, and access pathways to meaningful employment in the social services sector and beyond.
