As we celebrate 45 years of PARC, we’re excited to continue sharing PARC Stories, highlighting what PARC truly means to our members. This month, we’re featuring Roberts’s story.

What activities or programs do you participate in at PARC?

Art class every Saturdays

What does PARC mean to you?

It is a second home to me, if I don’t have any place to go I come here. All my friends are here.

How has being part of PARC impacted your life?

I live alone and come to have activities to do and communicate with people. PARC makes me feel happy and a sense of belonging. PARC is my second family.

What would you like the community to know about PARC?

PARC is trying to help people.

Something you think is special about PARC?

Without PARC, there will be no community, without PARC there will be more homeless people on the streets.
