Fundraise for PARC

Interested in supporting PARC, but not sure how to help? Host your own fundraiser! PARC can help you make it a success by creating promotional materials, sharing events, and building fundraising webpages to track your progress.What kind of fundraiser can you organize? Do what you love while supporting your community.

Ask your community to support a goal or challenge you plan to conquer like running 50K or
reading 50 books in 2026
Ask for donations in lieu of gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, or other events.
Host an event—bake sales, marketplaces, concerts, trivia nights, or sports events/pick up games
Offer your services—shovel snow, plant gardens, or provide repairs. Whatever skillset you have.

Hosting a Fundraiser on CanadaHelps

Create a free CanadaHelps account Go to canadahelps.org and sign up. Creating an account is free and takes less than a minute.
Start your fundraising page Once logged in, click “Create a Fundraiser” and search for Parkdale Activity-Recreation Centre to add us as your charity.
Choose your occasion Pick the occasion that fits your moment! Birthday, anniversary, corporate fundraiser, or in honour of someone. There are a variety of options available.
Set your goal and your dates Set a goal that feels right and give yourself at least two weeks to spread the word!
Tell your story PARC is a community where people rebuild their lives. We run a daily drop-in, providing meals, social and recreation programming and supportive housing for people who need it most. But your network will give because of you — so make it personal! Why do you support PARC?
Add a photo and share Upload an image, then share your page link by email or social media. Tag us at @parctoronto and we may be able to help boost it! Optional: use this photo of PARC →
