Your PARC Moment: Paul

by | Oct 9, 2024 | PARC Stories

As part of our 44th year, we are sharing stories from PARC people to capture their PARC moment, here’s Paul’s:

What Does PARC mean to you?

“PARC fosters a real community spirit amongst folks who might otherwise live in isolation. I myself have found in PARC an eclectic and delightfully odd clientele, a community in which I FIT.

The benefits are immeasurable/ moreover, in practical terms PARC ensures I eat a balanced, consistent diet. Prior to joining PARC, my life was in a drunken shamble.

My P.O.P. worker was crucial in helping me reassemble my existence. I strongly suspect that I’d have drunk myself to death by now were it not for PARC. Parkdale is a unique community, PARC is a HUB, a place I’ve made dozens of pals.”
