Our Members

PARC is a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone is met with dignity and respect. We refer to those who take part in our drop-in, programs, and services as members, because we believe that people are not clients or recipients, but active participants who help shape our community.

Our programs go beyond immediate needs by offering pathways to greater stability and independence through health and harm reduction services, housing supports, and member employment opportunities that foster skill-building and confidence.

While registration is not required to participate, those who choose to register as members can vote at our Annual General Meeting and apply to serve on PARC’s various committees and Board of Directors, uniquely comprised of 50% member representation.

Our Drop-in and community meals:
Open seven days a week, PARC’s Drop-in Centre provides a safe and supportive space where members can enjoy warm, nutritious meals, build relationships, and access essential supports.  For many, it’s the only meal they can count on and represents safety, routine, connection when so much else feels uncertain. Each day, hundreds of people come through our drop-in doors to share a meal and access support. The Community Meal Program is at the heart of everything we do and is often the first point of contact for people.

Meals are served in a communal setting in the Drop-In Centre on dinnerware. PARC will no longer be offering take out containers. If members would still like a meal to go, they will need to provide their own clean containers.

Meals are first come, first served and start 30 minutes after opening.
