As part of our 44th year, we are sharing stories from PARC people to capture their PARC moment, here’s David and Jazz’s:
“It means be treated like a human being with kindness and respect in a pretty cold and cruel world. Well, not always, but sometimes, especially when you find yourself at rock bottom, everyone turns their backs on you. So, having a place to come to and get out of the elements, get a hot coffee and a warm meal, and, most importantly, be treated with kindness is the difference between giving up and fighting for a better tomorrow. So basically, it is HOPE.”
