PARC Hockey Team

by | Jan 23, 2024 | Articles

PARC Hockey team was started by a volunteer who was a former player in the community. Ice hockey is an expensive sport and not accessible to anyone on a fixed income, especially for our homeless members. For the PARC Hockey team, the game is where our members can be more than people who need help. Team members get to show their hockey skills. The weekly pick-up game allows space for sharing experiences and community with players who have a similar passion. Our team brings people together to enjoy a sport otherwise inaccessible to them. Our members experience and see themselves in a different light. Membership comes from the simple act of walking through our doors. So does joining the PARC Hockey Team. We believe in people living a life of respect, dignity and accessibility.
